Working under the alias Omulu, the Rio De Janeiro, Brazil-based producer Antonio Antmaper has been anointed by critics as one of the new leaders of Global Bass in Brazil. In recent months, OMULU has dedicated himself to the sound of Rasterinha, a new wave of slowed down Baile Funk that incorporates Bahian Axé, Samba and reggaeton. His track, “Bagulho Doido”, produced in collaboration with New York’s Comrade, is known for launching the Rasterinha movement internationally after plays & support from DJs like Skrillex, Munchi, Diplo, & Calvin Harris, among others.
